STEINWAY B ART CASE RESTORATION

San Francisco, California

Steinway has produced many art case pianos; every one of them is unique. This 1918 Steinway B features hand carved walnut cabinet. The finish is French polish shellac and gold leaf was meticulously applied by hand. This historically significant instrument was restored by the same methods that were originally employed in 1918.
