Due to deterioration (UV rays, humidity fluctuation and household use) the piano cabinet's original finish had to be completely removed. Underlying surfaces were prepared to accept the new finish by repairing of the original cabinetry, sanding and filling the grain. New Steinway lacquer was sprayed on and rubbed smooth by same process that is
currently used in production at the New York factory. You can read the owners testimonial below the photos.
