I wanted to take a second and pass on a recommendation for Promet Restoration. Tynis Promet took on the difficult task of refinishing my mid-century George Nelson drop leaf table. The surface was crazed and peeling and it had yellowed over the years. I was reluctant to have it refinished since much of the value would be lost if the work was done improperly. I'm happy to report Tynis did a fantastic job. With his expert knowledge of finishes he used the underside as a guide to match the original varnish. He patched an area where the surface was missing and I still can't find a seam where the work was done. Thank you Tynis this is truly a museum quality restoration.
